The Oregon Trail

I recently took a trip to the Pacific North West with Eric and Chadboy to see Jefferson and Abigail be married. It was great! We drove from Salt Lake to Ontario Oregon then followed the Columbia River to Portland where they were married. Then after the wedding we made our way down the coast to The Redwood Forest where we saw a 1000 foot tall Paul Bunyan and swam in the River of Dreams. After the Redwood Forest we drove to Lake Tahoe to sleep and then drove home .

grey hair & motorcycles

I recently found the earliest version of the song 'greyhairandmotorcycles' that appears on the album 'Bless You Friend' by The Glendale Rabashaw. I have always liked this song but the version that appears on the album is not great! The Version that was originally supposed to appear on the album was accidentally erased from JP's 4 track a few months after this old version was recorded and will never be heard again. This Guitar and Organ version was recorded in the spring of 2004 by JP Haynie and Eric Robertson.

Also in 2005 Okikumi and JP Haynie did another version of this song which I like very much.

Cousin Tim and The Ghost Town Travelers

Here are some photos of when the Ghost Town Travelers made their way to Mammoth Utah, an abandoned mining community in the middle of Juab county. Visitors will note large amounts of "Fools Gold" lining the streets of this Utah "treasure" but don't be fooled! These shiny stones aren't even worth two wheat pennies! They are just for show.

Travelers included Elaine, Erin, Boo's cousin Tim, and JP.

JP toots horn for freedom, brotherly love

JP tooted the oldest horn in history as a symbol of freedom and to commemorate the birthday of fellow Pleasant Grove Native Chad Hemmelstrand who recently turned 26 this past Monday April 23, 2007. Those who heard the toot were reminded of the good qualities that Chad exhibits daily, such as Brotherly Love and Patience. Happy Birthday Chad.

HEBER SLEEPER REMEMBERED, FRIENDS REJOICE

The Heber Sleepover took place on January 14th 2005 in the home of the parents of Eva Jorgensen espoused to Kirk Jorgensen of Birds of paradise/Jorgensen fame. Many were present for this grand sleepover who have yet to be seen by JP since he's been home. Joy was shared by all as we participated in fun sleepover games and banter.
But not all was fun and games, Kirk and Karl Jorgensen were seen disputing over the use of a blankey.(below) Sources say the blankey actually belonged to JP. When asked about the sleepover Erin Flynn was flabergasted.
